The economic policy blog writes that you need to be a billionaire, and the first step is to learn how to build a business.
The article was written by Ben Stoll, a professor at George Mason University who’s been studying the impact of entrepreneurship on the American economy.
The article has been viewed nearly 400,000 times and has garnered nearly 17,000 shares on the company blog.
Stoll’s book, Entrepreneurship, is out now.
He told Fortune that he learned the most from his experience as a founder and CEO of a small family-owned clothing store.
“I think the biggest lesson I learned from it is that we can be really good at creating businesses if we want to,” he said.
“We can build a great company without any prior knowledge of business, without a background in it.
We don’t need a business school or even a PhD. We just need to understand how to get started.”
